I attended the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year awards ceremony in London on Monday evening, one of my images was commended and published in the book and exhibition. Here it is on display in one of the busiest stations in London.
The image on the left was when the image flashed up on the screen during the awards ceremony. The gent facing us from the bar in the lower left is one of my heroes, David Noton. He's one of the best landscape photographers in the UK if not the world and the main reason I shoot landscapes. I went up and spoke to him and he said some really nice things about my image. I put a post on my Facebook page about having met him and he replied that he was sorry we didn't have more time to chat and he thought my image was absolutely brilliant!
