This photo is so dreamy! Your entire gallery is magical! You are clearly great at your medium! I aspire to take photos such as this one day. While I know it is not the camera or the lens that produces such fine art and that it's the photographer, may I burden you to reveal to me your lens of choice for such shots? (I see you've used the Mark II body for this shot in particular.) Thanks in advance and I can't wait to see more from you!

Depends on the time of year but usually get there about 30 mins before light starts to show in the sky, then you shoot for maybe 3-4 hours. Summer you have to leave home about 3am , ready to be shooting by 4:45am! Winter is better, can leave home at about 5am to start shooting around 7:30am.
Takes a special kind of demented, lunatic mentality to be an outdoor photographer!
It seems so peaceful... If you don't matter, I will use it as a background for a little while, I really like it !
The trees looks almost surreal because of the light and the mist. But above all else, the bridge is the principal thing on the photo. Funny it reminds me of the countryside near my grandmothers houses (in Normandie) except that we don't have bridge like that, ours are made in stone and even cars can cross them.
